KNXWLEDGE: KUNTENT.EP & WRAPTAYPES.PORT.2[BOOTLEG]

Knx fans never have to wait long for a new project and now we’re hitting you with the double whammy! First up is the Wrap.Taypes.Port2[Bootleg]. The first one was one of my favorites. Knx puts his signature spin on rap songs—from the classics to newer stuff as well. The songs sound completely different from the original, and often better in my opinion. The tracks on the Kuntent.EP are mellow instrumentals. I picked one from each project and posted the links to them on his Bandcamp page. Show support! It’s worth it.

Well hello! It’s been a minute since, right?  The Blind I staff used to crank out compilations so quickly, but I find that the quality of the compilations is so much more thorough when we spend time really playing the music to see what works together. It’s spring! My spirits are super high and ideas and opportunities are blossoming. I’m feeling good and hopefully you are too!  There’s no formula or theme to this one; just songs that feel good. SUB REN + C-NOTE- WE GOT A RUNNER

Just a few weeks back, we posted the video for C-Note’s  song “Power of the Third” which featured Blind I’s very own Noah Deeakili. And now Noah just informed us that C-Note will be producing the entire Go Green album for his group Sub Ren. “We Got A Runner” is the first single from the album (which will be out soon). C-Note and Sub Ren definitely have musical chemistry, so we’re looking forward to hearing the project! And if you’re in the Bay Area, make sure you enter our ticket giveaway for Latryx this weekend, where Sub Ren will be hitting the stage.

In a male dominated game, anytime a female grabs a mic she is immediately scrutinized left & right, up & down, sideways & every other angle you can think of. Very few have avoided the “sexpot” route & concentrate on being an MC & delivering styled out cadences & flows over “boom bap”. So the feeling a head feels when they come across Persia is “THANK GOD!” American Me is the debut full length album from a veteran MC that has been long overdue. Persia has been in this game throwing & doing shows all across the states & made noise with her group Mamaz alongside Aima The Dreamer. She has worked with J.Boogies Dubtronic Science, Bassnectar, Pam The Funkstress & many more just to name a few.  Peep the fresh, cop the fresh, share the fresh… because YOU are fresh!
